There were many differences and similarities between the movie, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the novel. One main scene that stood out to me was the trial of Tom Robinson because of how similair it was to what I had in mind. The trial was absolutely amazing. All the actors acted very much like how I thought they would and more. They were very realistic and responsive to the trial. The atmosphere and setting of the court and people was very real and emotional. It was very serious and realistic as I had thought.
The only difference between the movie and the book, in my mind, was how the characters looked. I portrayed Bob and Mayella Ewell to be more dirty and repulsive as described in the book. I also expected Mayella Ewell as better looking and not so loud and stong willed. Althought the actors did not look exactly as I had thought them to be, they were very good at acting the scene of the trial.
